In international soccer events such as the Olympics, the rules used to give Sports Field Dimensions are set by a governing body. The difference with high school soccer fields is that their rules follow playing rules set by the state. In some other instances, the field itself is not bigger enough for their dimensions to follow the rules. According to the regulations by the soccer governing body, in international soccer events, the length of soccer fields or the touchline should be 110 yards. While some organizations have fields whose touchline dimensions are more than 120 yards, the rules state that the field should not be more than 120 yards.
